As an immigrant to Santa Cruz County myself, originally born and raised in beautiful Rome, Italy, I am still in awe of the natural surroundings of this area, which is truly now home for me. One of the things I love most is walking along the coast, taking in the view of the ocean and watching sailboats glide through the bay.

Real estate is like sailing in many ways. Sailors embark with a destination in mind, but choppy water and other external factors may arise along the way and lead them off course. However, if they are traveling with an experienced navigator who truly understands the sea, they will be able to prepare for and respond to these external forces, reaching their intended destination safe and sound.

The ABR designation is for Realtors who have been trained to understand the market from a buyer’s perspective and act in their best interest. According to the NAR, only two percent of Realtors have received this designation.
