Located in the lively Pleasure Point neighborhood, New Bohemia Brewing Company (lovingly referred to as NuBo) offers a brewery experience like no other, with a beer garden just steps from the beach.

Inspired by the magnificent region of Bohemia (in today’s Czech Republic) where the mountains, forest, and sea coalesce, owner Sarah Ferguson chose the name New Bohemia as a subtle nod to the geographical similarities this beautiful area shares with Santa Cruz.

If you've purchased or sold a home with me before, you know I host many client appreciation events at NuBo. It's the perfect space to gather, whether you are meeting a small group of friends to catch up, or hosting a large event with lots of people.

There’s plentiful space inside the LEED Gold certified building, and you’ll often get to hear live music by local artists. Outside, the patio area is perfect for yard games and late night laughter!

Beer enthusiasts will be delighted by the traditional European brewing methods, which date back over a thousand years and result in exceptional and exciting beers that are always fresh. Sarah & her team aim to blend traditional and modern approaches to brewing, so that the beers not only taste good, but tell a story.

New Bohemia also offers a menu with select food items that complement each brew perfectly. Whether it’s the fresh house salad, a giant pretzel with beer cheese, or their famous sausage sandwich served on a pretzel bun with sauerkraut, you’re sure to leave feeling satisfied.
